Paint the County Pink Tomorrow!

Healthy Lifestyles would like to invite you to join us in raising awareness of breast cancer and encouraging early detection with "Paint the County Pink"!


Join us tomorrow, October 27th, at 12 Noon at the Government Center, 3rd floor bridge, for a one-mile walk to honor breast cancer survivors and to raise awareness for early detection. Also available will be screening information, raffles, snacks, prizes, and 25 points for healthy lifestyles participants.

Also on display will be the Salt Lake County quilt! At the beginning of October, fabric squares were disributed throughout Salt Lake County and employees were asked to sign them in support of breast cancer awareness. Squares were then gathered and sewn together in a quilt, symbolizing a united effort to raise awareness for breast cancer and early deterction! Come see the finished product at the Paint the County Pink event!

And don't forget to wear PINK! A prize will be given to the most "pinked out" person during the walk.

Please note that "Pink Bingo" is due at the end of October. Earn 50 points by completing the healthy behaviors in each box and getting a "Pink Out". All tasks are geared towards both women AND men and are important in reducing your risk of acquiring breast cancer and other chronic diseases.
