Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Salt Lake City by getting out and walking the local trails. Below is a list of great walkways and hiking trails. To find out more information click on the trail title.

Jordan River Park Way: An expansive walking trail which runs from Utah Lake to the Great Salt Lake just west and parallel to Interstate 15. Park benches, picnic tables, restrooms and canoe marinas can be found along the trail. Several miles of the walkway are paved for comfortable walking.

 
Porter Rockwell Trail (East Bench Rail Corridor Trail- Draper): This walking trail reaches from Draper City Park to S 300 E/ Bangerter Pkwy, Draper. The trail length is 6 miles of paved asphalt.

 
Porter Rockwell Trail (Sandy Rail Trail): This wonderful trail runs from E 8400 South and S 100 East., .Sandy to E 11400 South and Kimballs Ln., Sandy. It is a stretch of Asphalt that runs for three miles along the path way of an old railroad system.

Bonneville Shoreline Trail: The Salt Lake City trail section combines challenging climbs and exciting descents to and from the smooth-rolling “shoreline” of ancient Lake Bonneville. Experience views of the Salt Lake metro area, as it laps against the lofty Wasatch Range. Two tough climbs (up Dry Creek and up from the City Creek Canyon Trailhead) might make the whole route beyond the reach of novices, but multiple trailheads offer countless short courses that cater to everyone. Trail surface: 6.5 miles on singletrack; 3.5 miles on doubletrack.
