Although March Into May is over, we would still like to encourage physical activity:
May is Utah's Bike Month and there's a great opportunity to participate in an event! Tuesday, May 18, 2010 is Salt Lake City/County Mayor’s Bike to Work Day. This event will start at Liberty Park (700 East 900 South, northeast corner) and will end at the Salt Lake County Government Center (2100 South State Street). It will begin at 7:30 AM, and the cost is free! It's presented by the Salt Lake City/Salt Lake County Mayor’s Offices and the Salt Lake City Mayors Bicycle Advisory Committee and County Bicycle Advisory Committee. Join us for a mellow ride with Mayor Peter Corroon/Mayor Ralph Becker and other city mayors under police escort to the County Government Center and on to Library Square. Free bagels for all participants. Contact County: Charles Kulp (801) 468-3799 or ckulp@slco.org or Contact City: Tyler Curtis (801) 535-6118 or tyler.curtis@slcgov.com.
