In observance of Heart Month, please join Dr. Lillian Khor and the University of Utah Center of Excellence in Women's Health for a special hear health seminar at the Salt Lake City Library auditorium on February 23 at 6:30pm. The event is FREE and open to the public. It will also feature special guest Katy Coffy, a heart attack survivor with a story you need to hear! Did you know…
- Women aged 40 and older are more likely than men to die within a year of the attack.
- Only half of the women surveyed by AHA recognized the typical symptoms of a heart attack.
- Only about half of women said they’d call 9-1-1 if they thought they were having a heart attack.
