For years, I have tried to gain weight in order to become healthier and stronger, not to mention feel more secure in social situations. What are some ways that can help me put on some pounds without hurting my body, especially my heart? My family has a history of heart complications.

A. Eat healthy and exercise daily.
How do I get energy for exercise without using pills?
Q. I know that after awhile the exercise itself will give me more energy. What I want to know is how do I get the energy and motivation for exercise until then? Pills are not an option for me. I get too many side effects and most of them contain stimulants that I cannot have due to my anxiety disorder.
